Cleanings and checkups
A routine visit is the foundation of everything else we do. You spend most of the appointment with your hygienist, then the dentist checks your teeth, gums, bite, and the soft tissues of your mouth.
We take digital X-rays only when they are due, not on a schedule. Low-dose sensors mean far less radiation than the film you might remember.
If we find something, we show you on the screen and explain your options, including the option to wait and watch. Nothing is booked without your say-so.
New patients get a longer first visit so we have time to hear your history and what you want from your care.

Do you take my insurance?
We are in network with Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, and more. If you are not sure, send us a photo of your card and we will check before your visit.
What if I do not have insurance?
Our membership plan covers two cleanings, exams, and X-rays for a flat yearly fee, with a discount on everything else. Ask at the front desk or on the booking form.
How soon can I be seen?
Routine visits are usually available within two weeks. Emergencies are seen the same day at whichever studio has the first opening.
I have not been to a dentist in years. Will I get a lecture?
No. We are glad you are here. Your first visit is a longer appointment so we can get a full picture and agree on a plan together, at your pace.
Do you see children?
Yes, from their first tooth. Dr. Castillo sees most of our younger patients, and both studios have a quieter room for first visits.
