A surprising number of our new patients open with an apology. Five years, ten years, sometimes longer. We hear it, and then we move on, because the only thing that matters is that you are here now.
Before the appointment
Fill in the health history online so we do not spend your visit on forms. If you have dental anxiety, say so in the notes. We book those visits in the quieter room and leave extra time.
In the chair
The first visit is longer than a routine cleaning, about seventy-five minutes. We take a set of low-dose digital X-rays, photograph each tooth, and check your gums. Then we clean. If the cleaning needs to happen over two visits because of build-up, we say so up front.
Talking it through
At the end you sit up and we look at the pictures together on the screen. Anything we found is explained in plain terms with options, including the option of waiting. You leave with a written plan and no obligation to book any of it that day.
That is it. No lecture, no guilt. Just a clean set of teeth and a clear picture of where you stand.
